Your Verve Experience is one to remember in every way and will be tailored to suit your needs. The Verve team will take you on a journey to capture your story with a professional photo shoot followed by a cinematic design experience. Our friendly and professional team will assist you each step of the way to ensure you get the exact outcome you desire. You can find more about what’s included in the Verve Experience here.

The Verve experience is designed for families, so it’s important to bring every member along. After all, it’s a little awkward having a portrait on the wall with a missing family member! We also welcome you to bring in extended family members, including grandparents, for the opportunity to capture three generations in a magical photo session.

We have photographed all sorts of pets at Verve, and understand your fur babies are part of your family too. Our studios are designed to cater for families getting nice and cozy on our bed and couch. If you feel your pet would be comfortable in this environment, they are more than welcome. If you would like to bring your pet, please let us know beforehand so we can prepare the studio.

So many people come to our studios feeling self-conscious, nervous and even super anxious. We’ve seen it all…and we never get tired of seeing how impressed and surprised these same guests are when they view the gorgeous, candid, relaxed photos we’ve captured.

We certainly do. This can be via phone or Zoom with our in-house stylist, who will chat through your ideas for the shoot and help you prepare for the session. Request a complimentary session planning call.

We want to capture the uniqueness of you and your family. Instead of having props or clothes at the studio for you to use, we encourage you to bring along a few changes of clothing and personal items that are special to you.

We recommend that you keep it simple and avoid too many patterns and colours as these can make the photos look a bit ‘busy’. Neutral tones and pops of muted colours work really well. However, ultimately we want you to wear what reflects your own style. If that’s bold colours and patterns, we’ll still produce stunning shots you’ll love.

We don’t provide hair and makeup, but feel free to have this done before you come into the studio. We recommend you simply prepare as you would for a night out. We find we get the best images if you come looking like yourself. Our talented photographers, retouch artists and studio lighting will ensure that you look your very best.

If you wake up and think, “I couldn’t possibly be photographed today, look at me!” then you’ll be joining a huge contingent of people who come in and say they thought the same. The only thing you really have to do is show up. We’ll ensure you look great in the photos and even have fantastic editors who can cover up things like scrapes, bruises and blemishes.

We get it. Kids can be a little unpredictable and you can never be sure what mood you’ll get on a photo session day. With this in mind, our studios are designed to give the kids freedom to move around, play on the beds, and feel at ease – it’s all part of the fun.

Giving them some freedom allows us to get candid moments and authentic expressions. Our photographers are very experienced in knowing how to handle any tricky moments that may unfold.

At Verve, we believe that still, lifeless, posed images are a thing of the past. We get the most vibrant, candid and emotive images by encouraging our guests to be themselves and have a bit of fun together, instead of posing for the camera! We know you’ll love this approach over traditional portrait photography. Our aim is to celebrate the unique relationships you’ve created with those you love.

Apart from an amazing experience with your loved ones, you can also choose from a range of high-quality artwork to adorn your walls for years to come.

We also offer digital packages if you’re looking to create your own pieces.

We understand that everyone is different, which is why we have catered to all tastes in our product range.

Once you’ve had your photoshoot, we’ll call you back in for a cinematic viewing – also a very popular experience our guests rave about. This is normally within 3-5 days following the photoshoot.

It’s true that we tend to be our own harshest critics. The good news is, most of our guests find themselves pleasantly surprised at how their photos turn out. We’re focused on capturing special family moments together. As soon as everyone relaxes and has fun in our studios, beautiful images naturally result.

In the unlikely event you are not 100% thrilled with your photos, we have a satisfaction guarantee, which means you can enjoy a complimentary reshoot.

Our photography experiences take place in our studios. We do not photograph weddings, however a Verve Couples Experience is a great way for newlyweds to celebrate the occasion with relaxed and spontaneous images that are completely different to the posed images often taken at weddings.

Many brides actually bring in their wedding dress to capture the essence of the day in Verve style (without the stress!).

You may also wish to have a session with your bridal party.

We do offer ‘in studio’ corporate photography. If you are after branding imagery or would like your team professionally photographed, we offer studio sessions tailored to your requirements.

Our studios are very busy and we generally can’t refill appointments at the last minute, so we have strict cancellation policies:

Bought a photoshoot online or been gifted a Verve Experience from a friend or family member?

These photoshoots are non-refundable, i.e. you can reschedule at no cost once, however if you don’t provide at least 72 hours notice or you reschedule more than once, you will need to buy another photoshoot.

Received a gift voucher from a company or as a prize?

You will need to pay a holding deposit of $100 to book your photoshoot. This is non-refundable, i.e. you can reschedule at no cost once, but if you don’t provide at least 72 hours notice or you reschedule more than once, you will need to pay another $100 holding deposit.

We offer a wide range of packages to choose from, including digital options.

Framed artwork starts from $395 and there is a huge range of options to choose from.

Digital files are sold in albums. Choose from a collection of 5, 15 or the whole show. Digital images cost $75 – $199 depending on which package you choose.

The files are ideal for online use, e.g. sharing on social media, creating slideshows and more. They can also be printed at approximately 8″ x 10″ so you can make your own album, cards or calendars.

We also have some great packages and promotions available at our studios, which bundle both physical artwork and digital images.
