We’re so excited to welcome you to the studio for
your Verve Experience!
We want you to get the most out of your time with us, so we’ve developed this guide to help you prepare for your forthcoming photoshoot. A little bit of preparation ahead of the photoshoot can make a huge difference to the end results.
Once you arrive at the studio, it will be your time to relax and just be present with your family. Your photographer will ensure you have an incredible time together in a very relaxed yet fun-filled photoshoot.
We have created a short 6 minute film that contains everything you need to ensure you feel 100% prepared for your photoshoot with us. We’re pretty sure it will answer any burning questions you have about your Verve Experience.
We know planning your clothing for your session can be a little daunting, so we have made an easy to follow guide for your session styling.
We suggest you arrive in your favourite outfit and bring along a few optional items to allow for variety in the session. This could be another full outfit or just a few extra items such as another top, jeans or skirt.
There is no need to do anything special for the shoot, after all we want this to be a true reflection of you. Come to the studio with your makeup and hair styled in the way you feel most comfortable. And trust us, we have fantastic lighting to make you look fabulous!
We love it when our guests bring along items to incorporate their own style into their shoot. Any favourite items such as hats, scarves, fave sneakers, boots, jackets and jewellery all allow our photographers to truly personalise the imagery as well as capture your unique style.
Our luxurious studios are styled with linen bedding and neutral tones however if you would like to add a touch of your “home colour palette’ to the imagery, we welcome you to bring along any throws, cushions, or blankets from your home.
Design a classic and timeless look to artwork with a Monochromatic look to suit any period home. Create contrast by layering textures with monochromatic tones.

We love to get creative so if you have a special hobby or passion and would like to incororate it into the shoot please bring these things into the session.
Our studio team will be awaiting your arrival and ready to welcome your family to the studio and provide a truly memorable experience for you all. Your task is to just get everyone there on the above date and we will do everything from this point!
Please aim to arrive 15 mins ahead of time so you don’t feel rushed and you can settle in with refreshments before the session. Parking is provided for your convenience and details can be accessed here..
Following your shoot, our team of Editors and Retouchers will prepare your images ready to be viewed which will take place back at the studio approximately 3-5 days after your photoshoot.
Please have a think about what day would work best for you and bring your calendars so you can book this in after your photoshoot.

Please note all reschedules need to be made online via our the link in your confirmation email.
Your fully-refundable holding deposit secures your session time in our studios. Verve understands that sometimes schedules need to change. Your original Photography Session may be rescheduled once without penalty, provided you give at least 24 hours-notice. This is because we normally cannot refill session appointments at the last minute due to people needing time to plan for their Verve experience.
Sessions can only be rescheduled online using the unique link in your confirmation email.
Please be aware that you will forfeit your session deposit if you:
-Reschedule your session more than once
-Cancel your session without first rescheduling a new session
-Don’t provide 24 hours-notice of the changed session
-Don’t turn up to a scheduled session
